OK, so I really need to get Destiny a life jacket since we are going camping near a big lake and im sure we are going to be swimming ALOT.....and I found this really cute one...that im so going to get her...YAY

I think im going to get the lady bug one or the piggy one...UMMMM the choices the choices

CAMPING......sewing withdrawl..lol

Ok, So my Mom, my Daughter and I have decided to go CAMPING.... We have a popup camper...but it hasnt been used in ages, so that means its going to require lots of clean up,new curtians,and worst of all...the roof requires some repair...we had a bad storm last summer and a tree landed on it and damaged the roof....But the qood news is that my mother has been thinking about getting something smaller, that we could just drive ourselves...like a motorhome a very small motor home...and WE FOUND ONE...yes it is old, like i think the man said 72 but it has been in a garage unused its entire life...he said he may have taken 5 trips up to his local lake before his wife died...And his new wife doesnt like to camp so it has been setting in the garage again for a year or two...Anyways.....Its in REALLY REALLY NICE CONTITION.. and the price is just right....$1,800!!!
So as long as we can talk my dad into it, we may have us a RETRO CAMPER..Its so cute I just love it...
It is so small...which is great becasue it will always just be us girls going camping, because my hubby is a city boy through and through and well my dad just says a plain-o NO!! Sorry Party Poopers....lol

Anyways.....back to why im telling you all this...I will be trying to post some cool pictures of everything leading up to our camping trip, some camping crafts, and some cute pictures of all the camping fun over the next week...Then we are leaving this Thursday and will return Sunday afternoon...(yes camping doesnt stop us from going to church..we may look ruff when we get there..but we will be there....lol

If  you have any fun crafts for me to try before or during camping please leave comments or links below...thanks...Trust me Im going to need them...because I have to leave my Sewing machine behind for 4 WHOLE DAYS.....IM GOING TO HAVE SEWING WITHDRAWL....UGH....HOW WILL I SURVIVE??

I have always loved jewelry! After a while, I would look at it in stores and nothing I saw would interest me. I needed jewelry to jump out at me to attract my attention. When that wasn’t happenning I read anything I could find on how to make jewelery. I learned a lot and now absolutely love creating my own necklaces, earrings and watches! When I started giving my pieces away to family and friends for special occassions I loved how happy it made them. Now I am trying to make a business out of my creations and I hope the wonderful people who buy from me are just as happy!

What can I blog about today??

I just have to ask, how many times do you ask yourself  "What can I blog about today?" or  are you lucky enough to always have something very exciting and follower attention getting to talk about? 

Because I have this problem more than once a week, blogging shouldn't be this difficult, I know it shouldn't, but Im just the type of person that over analyzes everything, I always have.....And it is so annoying . But I think that if I know which followers were actively following and reading my blogs, I would better be able to decide what kind of crafts, etsy features, giveaways, etc..would excite my followers...

I would hope that all of my followers actually paid attention to all my blog posts but I know that that is not the case and I'm sure many other bloggers have this same problem. So If all my active followers could comment below with your blog addy, I will go to your blog and Follow you back! Because I think I have a couple of people who follow me but I don't follow them yet.

I need your Help!!

Ok, so last month a lady at my church asked me if I would come and help her with vacation bible school, I was so shocked that I just said YES, not that I would have said no, Its just that I have never been to a vacation bible school, the church I go to is just a tiny little church with 50 something members(if we are lucky), And most of them are older people, so I never had the chance to go to a vacation bible school. Well within the last couple of years we have gotten several new members and most of them have kids, I think we have maybe 10-12 kids ranging in ages of 1-15, and 5 of those are teens which are the ones wanting to have a vacation bible school.......So, We are going to have a 1 day vacation bible school!
 I have no idea what to do, she just gave me two books and said that I could choose what I wanted to do....UGH......My grandma told me that most VBS do crafts and a couple of lessons.

Im excited to announce that Orange Blossom got a whole new look and I have to say that this is a much better fit!!

If not you so should I love it, there are tons of designs and backgrounds not to mention layouts,columns, and all kinds of good stuff and don't be suprised if you dont notice some changes with the blog in the next few days, I love playing around with all the new layouts and columns!

I have posted some pictures of her beautiful jewelry,and here is what she had to say about her shop,her jewelry and how it all got started. I hope you enjoy:

I've been obsessed with earrings since a couple years ago and have been buying them like crazy. One day I sat there and thought to myself that it was only right to make my own since I loved earrings so much. And since then I've been creating my own. At first they were very primitive but I have improved a bit over the years. I took a long break from making them but I recently had the urge to start it up again. This is how I decided to express myself and felt the need to share it with others! One of my goals for the near future is to expand my knowledge of jewelry making and take metal smithing classes.

My earrings are inspired by many things such as (but not limited to):

different cultures, my friends, my religion, whatever I happen to be reading or watching, and from the playful spirits of my four muses, my dogs!

Currently, I am at home taking care of my wonderful mother who has cancer at the moment. She was actually one of my inspirations to open up shop. She is an artist and before her sickness, she used to paint wonderful paintings all the time no matter where she was. But since her sickness, she has had no drive to paint anymore. I hope that by me creating my "art" and spreading it to others she too will once again start up her wonderful paintings and be the same old crazy beautiful artist that she is. The background of the banner on my shop happens to be a sample of one of her paintings.

Saturated Canary took flight in a little grey cubicle…I was working as a civil engineer at a nuclear power plant, struggling with the fact that I am not the type of person content to sit behind a computer screen for 8 hours or more each day. I wanted the freedom to be involved in my children’s lives, take on projects that excited me, and live a bit more spontaneously and un-scheduled. So, I started thinking of the things that truly made me happy…and it always came back to drawing. Most of my family, at some point or another, has encouraged me to “do something with it.” I was reading blogs and looking through Etsy everyday thinking, “I should give it a try.” I didn’t want to look back in 20 years, still sitting in a grey cubicle, and wish I’d taken that leap… I took time away from working to re-evaluate what I want to do with both my education and creativity, and I started my Etsy shop . I’ve started putting in for craft fairs, have written a few children’s stories, and would like to get involved with a water resources or environmental project on the side. I am just that freelance sort of person, I think…(or, I just have ADD)…Either way, I really love the “newness” that each day feels filled with…and that is what inspires my work the most—possibilities, dreaminess, and a sense of exciting expectation.

8 FOAM SHEET
1 ROLL OF RIBBON(5/8 OR SMALLER)

layout your foam in to two sets of 4

Ok, Now you are all done and should have some really cute Flip Flops, there are all kinds of ways to decorate or make them even more awesome so just use your imagination!! I know what your thinking...FOAM and HOT GLUE...that will never last!! Oh yes it will, My daughters feet are so hard to find flip flips for the straps are always to lose and she is between sizes so they are either to big or to small!! So I decided to make them myself!! And she wore a pair all summer last summer!! and they are still in good enought condition to wear this summer!!
