Easter 2010

Today, I went out in search of some cute places around town to get some Easter pictures of Destiny and let me tell you our city workers need to do a better job of taking care of parks,court houses..etc!

On a better note, I did find a couple of great places I would have never expected to look so good in pictures, Then agian my babys beauty could light up any background...lol

So Here are a few of the pictures I got today!

Im such an IDIOT!!!!

Well, to start I have to explain that it has been raining so much here in oklahoma that I feel like im in "Forks", its even flooded in some areas!

Well this afternoon, Destiny was begging to go outside, since we finally have some sunshine!!
So I thought I would back across my driveway so she could ride here tricycle and not get in the road, and like an IDIOT I wasnt thinking and just drove right out into my yard and my car got stuck!!!  I cant believe Im such and IDIOT!!

Well I cant tell you about this without Pictures so here you go:

I know what your thinking (well besides Im an IDIOT) its not that bad....Well, I decided to stop before I made it much much worse....I so have to wait for the hubby to get home and handle this!! lol

Men and Craft Rooms

Why are men so annoying. I often wonder why in the world I have one, I mean he just drives me crazy, I cant do anything without talking to him first. I dont think its dumb to move just for me to have a craft room, but he looks at me like I lost my mind because I want to move because I dont have enought space for my crafts, He says well if you would quit bringing stuff in the  house it wouldnt be so small......

But Its not just wanting a craft room, this house really is getting to small, it is a two bedroom,1bath(small), a Small kitchen with very little and i mean very little counter space, no cabnet space, I have to keep my pots and pans on the stove all the time because there is no space!!!! Not to mention that I cant even move our furniture around because there is absolutly no other way for it to go because it is just to small. Each room has its own closet and we also havea hall closet, He has so many clothes that we cant share a closet, and so does destiny, so I got kicked to the hall closet, which is now lost to me because we need some storage area, So now all my clothes must be folded and put in drawers....I dont know about you but that is just plain annoying!!

This house was just our starter home, I never intended to stay here forever! But he is just the kind of person who wants to stay where  he is, and continue to do the same things...he doesnt like change much!!
But Im begining to feel costerphobic in here!! My craft area and the computer desk is all crunched up into the corner of the kitchen and we are constantly bumbing chairs, or im bumbing into the computer table, I sew on a little wooden dinner tray thing which just doesnt give me the room to spread my fabric out and do all that stuff...............AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH is all I have to say about that.
I dont know what rent runs everywhere else, but we live in a small town so  a 2 bedroom runs between $300-$350, and a four bedroom $400-up depending on how fancy you want it. And the neighborhood we live in now is perfect full of kids Destinys age, low crime..well no crime, and my mom lives around the corner... So I want to live in this neighborhood.............I just want a biggerhouse,one I can breath in!!

Im excited to announce that Orange Blossom got a whole new look and I have to say that this is a much better fit!!

Have any of you tried the new blogger in draft???

If not you so should I love it, there are tons of designs and backgrounds not to mention layouts,columns, and all kinds of good stuff and don't be suprised if you dont notice some changes with the blog in the next few days, I love playing around with all the new layouts and columns!

Flip Flops From Scratch

This isnt your average decorate your flip flops..O no, its actually Making your toddlers  Flip flops!!

YOU'LL NEED:

8 FOAM SHEET
1 ROLL OF RIBBON(5/8 OR SMALLER)

GLUE GUN

HERE WE GO:

layout your foam in to two sets of 4

*** Make that 4 layers ***

Ok, Now you are all done and should have some really cute Flip Flops, there are all kinds of ways to decorate or make them even more awesome so just use your imagination!! I know what your thinking...FOAM and HOT GLUE...that will never last!! Oh yes it will, My daughters feet are so hard to find flip flips for the straps are always to lose and she is between sizes so they are either to big or to small!! So I decided to make them myself!! And she wore a pair all summer last summer!! and they are still in good enought condition to wear this summer!!

Recycled Toothbrush Bracelet

Ok, So as part of my new remodel...Im going to start posting new crafts each week!!
So here goes my first!

This craft is really cool for a couple of reasons..

1.well its super unique i never heard of wearing your toothbrush!

2. They are actually pretty cute and I see endless ways to make it cuter!

3. Well its inexpensive

Ok, here is your supply list:

an old toothbrush(or a sparkley new one)

Tweezers or pliers

Oven  gloves

tongs

pot

large pot

And here is what you do with all those fancey supplies:

*First you need to remove all the bristles from the brush using your tweezers or pliers

*Then you will need to boil your water, and keep it boiling

*Then put your tooth brush in the boiling water for 5 minutes

*Now you can remove the toothbrush and now that its soft you can bend it into shape

 (use your gloves its hot)

(if its not soft enough for you to bend put it back in the boiling water for a few more min)

*Now to use the mug, you will put your toothbrush down in the bottom of the mug to help hold its shape

*Finally you can poor cold water in the mug to cool the toothbrush and pull it out

**VIOLA**

The are so Awesome.. I love them...I could create and create all night long....I have already been up til 1:36 am this morning working on these, and I already have many more ideas for my designs...cant wait til tomorrow!! yay!!
