GIMP is so complicated!!

Ok,

So I have been wanting to create some awesome party supplies like these:

well...... FOREVER!!!

I have searched and searched through google trying to figure out how to make them, and I finally decided that I would just ask some one who sales them. I honestly didnt think they would tell me but suprisingly enough they did and they told me they use photoshop or gimp.
So I did a little researcha and found that gimp was FREE!!!
and Im a budget conscious type person so FREE was all I need to read, Bad news is this is the most complicating program ever!

But I turned to my trusty friend GOOGLE for some tutorial searching and came up very very short as far as learning how to do what I WANT TO DO.


So My next step was to ask you all, So if you have any idea how to make cupcake toppers,bottle wrappers,labels, greeting cards,etc....

I really really want to learn this for my personal use only!

Rings rings and more rings!!

Ok, so my mom was cleaning out her garage, and I found all these hoops, my first thought was " awesome I can make some cute bangles" Yea right they are way to big for that

See what I mean! So now I've got 17 of these hoops and now idea what to do with them....Does anyone have any great ideas??

I have several things to talk about today first is that, Destiny (my 2 yr old thats turning 3 next week,) Is in the Parents.com(parents magazine) CuteKid Photo Contest

I just have no intrest in it, I have used it maybe 3 times and that was just when i first got it and wanted to see what it can do, I did have the cutter pressure to high, so  You might need a new mat, But really I only used it maybe 3 times, and otherwise it has been in its original box with all packaging. I have everything that came with it. It came with the PlantinSchoolBook cartridge,Which I will send along with the machine!

I need to get rid of it, because I have a very small Craft space and I simply do not have any room for it! Im only asking $250.00 + shipping for it...or best offer!
