Flip Flops From Scratch



This isnt your average decorate your flip flops..O no, its actually Making your toddlers  Flip flops!!

YOU'LL NEED:


8 FOAM SHEET
1 ROLL OF RIBBON(5/8 OR SMALLER)
GLUE GUN
HERE WE GO:

layout your foam in to two sets of 4








*** Make that 4 layers ***

















Ok, Now you are all done and should have some really cute Flip Flops, there are all kinds of ways to decorate or make them even more awesome so just use your imagination!! I know what your thinking...FOAM and HOT GLUE...that will never last!! Oh yes it will, My daughters feet are so hard to find flip flips for the straps are always to lose and she is between sizes so they are either to big or to small!! So I decided to make them myself!! And she wore a pair all summer last summer!! and they are still in good enought condition to wear this summer!!

  10. I love this idea! Sorry it took me so long to get here. My daughter and I were talking about making her a pair of shoes to match her dress she is making. This is so perfect. She is 9, but I would think measuring the foot itself and then using the foot as the guide would work for measurements? Might make myself some this way too. Thanks for posting this.
